Kids Ministry

Bible Study Community Groups
We have classes for Birth-5th grade that meet each Sunday, at 9:00 a.m. Teachers lead the kids in fun activities and lessons.

Children’s Worship
Children’s Worship is for K-2nd grade and meets each week. The kids start the service in the Worship Center with their families, and then are dismissed to Children’s Worship, where they will learn Bible stories, play games and do crafts related to each week’s lesson.

Children’s D-Group
Older children, grades 3-5, meet weekly and work through a discipleship program. Some topics have included getting along with siblings, being kind and how to study the Bible.

Nursery provided for Birth-2 years old.

Mission Friends
Mission Friends is for ages 3 – K, and meets each Wednesday night, from 6:15-7:30 p.m. Kids learn about missionaries from all over the world and participate in mission projects.

eKidz
eKidz is for grades 1-5, and meets in the Family Life Center each Wednesday, from 6:15-7:30 p.m. Kids learn God’s truth through Bible stories, play and serving others through missions.

Special Classes:

Children’s Bible Drill meets January – March, from 5:30-6:15 p.m., in the Choir Room, each Wednesday. Kids learn the books of the Bible, how to find passages in scripture, and specific verses to commit to memory. 

Children’s Choir meets Wednesdays, from September-December to work on a Christmas musical. They meet each week from 5:30-6:15 p.m., in the Choir Room.

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt
On Good Friday, we sponsor a community-wide flashlight Easter Egg Hunt that includes food, games, inflatables, and flashlight Easter Egg Hunts for ages Birth-5th grade. Three separate hunts are scheduled for the different age groups.

Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat
On the Sunday before Halloween, we sponsor a community-wide Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat. Children can collect candy from car to car and then visit our Fall Festival, where we have food, games, inflatables, hayrides, and all kinds of Fall fun.

VBS
Vacation Bible School is held each summer for children Entering Kindergarten-Completed 5th Grade. Music, Bible stories, crafts, rec games, missions, and snacks all focus around one theme for the week. A Family Night is held on the Friday night of the week and includes food, water slides and somebody getting  a slime bath.

Little Kids’ Camp
LKC is a one-day camp for children entering Kindergarten-Completed 1st grade. It’s held at the church and includes a Bible story, crafts, activities, lunch, a t-shirt, and afternoon water fun.

Children’s Camp
Children’s Camp is a week-long, out-of-town camp for completed 2nd-5th graders. Campers stay in cabins with our church adult leaders, and participate in Worship, Bible studies, Recreation and activity tracks. 

Other activities are scheduled throughout the year. Some examples are:
